Message : Me again make sure you check all your connections are okay including the earth which normally runs from the front light rim (not sue on an Li though) you could always create your own earth within the headset if the original is dodgy. I hope you get sorted Lambretta electrics are relatively simple but s***e. 12volt is the way forward |

Message : From my experience I would guess you need the right speedo bulb. 12volt 2.5w one in mine works fine although I am running a 12v system. Not to worry too much about your speedo cable. As long as is it not broken i.e snapped and is fairly clean where it meets the speedo and drive at the bottom. If you live in Peterborough try Millfield autos for the bulb or any motor cyle shop. |

Message : hello paul! yes it has a speedo bulb but i took it out as that blew and i could not find a replacement? i went to halfords and they dont have one like it? do u know anywhere to get one? when i got my lammy the speedo did not work propper so my dads friend who is a AA man got it to work! so with what you say its gotta be the speedo cable then? any idea how much a new cable would cost? thanks for your help paul! : ) |

Message : Dan are you running with a speedo light bulb in? The speedo bulb acts not only as the obvious to illuminate the speedo but to take some of the excess current away from other bulbs It should be a 12v one as well.. Make sure your speed cable itself is in good order because that acts as an earth. |

Message : Just to let you all know that due to continued problems with our website we have decided to change internet providers as the one we are using at the moment 1 & 1 are not giving us the service we are paying them for.Andy Lindsay is kindly taking over control for us through his company so we will have total control of our website.To do this we will have to shut the site down completely for about 4 days so be patient.It will probably be done early next week so if its down you know why.Cheers.Corky |
